Location
The hotel is located directly on the Newcastle foreshore promenade and 20 minutes from Newcastle Airport.
Amongst the historical maritime buildings of the Honeysuckle Precinct, the hotel has been built to reflect the harbour's excitement, with most rooms looking directly onto the fascinating activity of ferries, trawlers, rowers and fishing boats.
Accommodation
Crowne Plaza Newcastle comprises 175 one-bedroom suites with an average size of 37 square metres, mostly with queen-size beds and double sofa beds and a separate living area. Individual climate control, full minibar facilities, superior bathrooms and a breakfast bar are standard in all suites.
All suites have complimentary cable TV, desks and dual-modem connection.
In total there are 104 Harbourside Suites, which offer magnificent views of the working harbour, and 71 City Suites, which look towards Newcastle CBD.
Recreational Facilities
Recreational facilities at Crowne Plaza Newcastle include a 25-metre pool set in landscaped grounds on the harbour edge and a fully equipped gymnasium next door.
