Venue Highlights

Peninsula is Melbournes most glamorous and avant-garde waterfront event space. From the moment you enter, you'll be overwhelmed by its sheer size. Its design was inspired by London's iconic Tate Modern Museum and features nine metre high ceilings, exposed trusses and huge floor to ceiling windows flanked by the original loading doors of the shed Peninsula has a contemporary colour palette of black, white and grey and includes a stunning 66-metre crystal chandelier streaking along one side of the room.

by one of Melbourne's leading interior design firms. Peninsula is located in the newly developed Central Pier at the Docklands, with the heritage-listed Shed 14 providing the backdrop. Boasting stunning views of Victoria Harbour, Central Pier is the most culturally significant waterfront development ever undertaken in Melbourne.

Catering Information

This spectacular venue is one of the largest in Victoria with a capacity of 1440 for a sit down dinner and 2500 guests for a cocktail party.
Great attention to detail has been placed in the culinary experience, with a large, diverse and delectable range of menu options. Peninsula offers a refined, modern Australian menu including an extensive array of plated dishes from traditional style through to more exotic creations designed by the Atlantic Group's Executive Chef, Dan Shanks. In keeping with the versatility of the venue, a wide selection of speciality food stations are available as well as an informal BBQ menu.
